True right? This was such a "DUH" moment for me....and I have a feeling there will be many more. Friday was a great way to kick things off in an all afternoon session! Hearing Christine Dwyer and other coaches speak about their experiences has been great so far. Love that this is a smaller conference and more intimate atmosphere - the power of a live event is a real thing!
The Platinum Edge - Conference Part One!
Friday was another long yet fulfilling day! Started by getting in a run early in the am and it actually went really well. Seriously though I love my energize pre workout - SO GOOD and makes me look forward to having a "treat" during and before my run! Do you use a pre workout?
post run I brewed coffee - had a protein bar for breakfast and did some blogging, posting and checking in with my challengers! Headed down to the conference center around 10 to register and catch up with the girls!
Look who I ran into on the way to registration? Fellow misFITs! So fun to see my misFIT family in person! Went back to the room before the conference got started to get some shakeo! - Cafe Latte for the win...Water + Ice and Shake it up! My nutrition probably has NOT been the best during the trip - protein bar here...almonds there...so nice to know I'm getting in the good stuff in an easy and delish way
Time to head down and get in line to get in at 1230! - Met up with the team and we chatted before heading in to soak up all the info - Music was PUMPING in there. I think Christine should strongly consider making a Platinum Edge sound track...they have the best pump up music!

The afternoon session went from 1 to 5! Loved hearing from Christine Dwyer, Coach Tulin about body love, Meghan Eggleston about getting coaches starting right and team culture and a few other coaches sharing their stories! -
POST session we were huuunnngggrrry. And since the night before I was dreaming about margaritas...we decided mexican it was!
Guac for the table. Skinny margarita. Chips and Salsa. Southwest Salad that i'm SOOOOO recreating this at home....
Grilled chicken on top of romaine, pico de gallo, tortilla chips, black beans, grilled sweet corn, bacon bits and of course an avocado cilantro creamy dressing - I loved adding guac on it too! Best part? it was huge so I have lunch for the next day too!!!
THEN we all parted for the night and headed back to our rooms! We were pooped out! Showered and tucked myself into bed to work on my next challenge group! - Can't wait to get started with a fresh group in October! - You in?
