Life Lately with Lots of Coffee, Puppy Mom Life and Spring Decor
We took Hank out to the farm over the weekend and man did he have a blast!!! On Friday night Brendan brought his 22 with to see how he would react to gun shots. When B would shoot I would throw the dummy - to help him learn to associate the noise with retrieving something (like in bird hunting!) - We kept him on the leash right away and towards the end we let him off and he wandered the woods with us. He was absolutely EXHAUSTED after all the walking and new sights and smells! But I really got some great shots of those two...
On Saturday B took Hank back to the farm for the day with another friend and they went shed hunting. To translate: look for deer antlers in the woods that have been "shed" from the past winter. They found quite a few! Hank even jumped into the river and swam! Probably not the BEST spot to go for him on his first try, but he made it and loved it. He loves baths so I'm not super surprised...but I think we are going to have a hard time keeping him out of the lake this summer!!!
While the boys played - I was working on our bedroom! I'm painting our bedroom (SERIOUSLY about time. that brown ish is SO UGLY!) I'm so excited for it to be done and I promise to share when I finish!!!
I also hit up a baby shower on Saturday! SUPER fun to mingle, see the beautiful mama to be and watch her be spoiled with stuff for that baby boy <3
SPRING finally feels like it's here! After a BLIZZARD two weeks ago these temps in the 60s and 70s feel amazing and are very welcome! I have even heard 80 degrees in the forecast for next week! I took a trip to Michael's and found some new springy home decor. I'm LOVING these succulents...I think they are the most unique plants.
I also picked up these little bottles and some new flowers. I love making arrangements and the more simple the more pretty I think. You could definitely DIY these piece with some twine, random glass vases and some old wood.
I checked out a new coffee place last week downtown Fargo - I have been wanting to go since they opened, but rarely make it downtown. It did NOT disappoint. Their menu is SUPER unique and they have all kinds of different coffee pours and their food menu - super unique! They even roast their own coffee beans to create their own blends there! Would love to see how that all goes down. They have truly transformed that old space into something totally unique and beautiful - And I think my cappuccino speaks for itself... ART. I'm now in love with oatly oat milk...makes the CREAMIEST coffees!
Every day at noon to 1 pm they close their coffee shop part and have an open lunch. Toast buffet for $3 and you can make your own creation. They have drip coffee too and you just simply pay what you can. Their big mission is to get to know people...and the community. Definitely go check them out - their site is HERE where you can learn more about the shop and their mission.
