was TOTALLY inspired today while listening to Mark Batterson's podcast "National Community Church" - I got to "know him" by reading an AMAZING book The Circle Maker (highly recommend) which was gifted to me by one of my best friends! So basically if you haven't read it yet or don't have a copy go out and get it..like now! But anyway..on to my true point here...
Just One Thing
It's so easy in life to have all these aspirations and ideas - for you career, your business, for your fitness, your health, your home, your family, - WHATEVER. but we get SO CAUGHT up in it all that we feel like we are lost...spinning out of control and overwhelmed because where and HOW do we get started? I find myself in this bind often. AND if you let it ...it will freeze you and then you end up doing NOTHING at all. I'm here to remind you that time will pass any way...
Mark stated, "How do you lose 10 pounds? - One pound at a time! How do you run and train for a marathon? - One mile and one workout at a time? How do you make changes in your nutrition? One meal at a time..." You get the idea?
Often we KNOW what we have to do ... but for some reason we are frozen and don't know where to start! My advice is this:
Just Start Somewhere. Do ONE thing. No matter how small it seems it will pay off, because that one thing will lead to another thing...which will lead to another thing...and another... and results in your life will happen. - whether it's in your business, your health or attitude.
Being a health and fitness coach does not make me perfect. in fact that is a HILARIOUS thought to think! I have the SAME struggles as any other human. Feeling not good enough, feeling in secure and feeling stuck. I'm so grateful for this business where my monthly challenge groups and working with new clients give me the opportunity to share the things that HAVE helped me while we work through other struggles too!
