I get asked fairly often what my fridge looks like, what foods are my go to's and what we frequent have for favorite recipes at our house. I think some of this might come to a shock to you - I don't really use recipes. Nope. I don't. What the heck? How is that possible? What do you MEAN you don't use recipes? What about all these healthy pins on pinterest? You mean I shouldn't use them???
Last week of 2015 & What's on my shopping list
Now now. Don't go deleting your pinterest account or anything like that - but seriously stop making it so complicated. I'm also guilty of overthinking, overplanning, etc. etc. buuuuutttt I have learned a few things along the way! Let me save you some time and energy..
Remember this phrase...
Mind blowing right? Drops Mic.
Ok here is how I set up any meal: Focus on the basics: Add a lean protein. Add at least 2 veggies (greens please and not just starches!) and add a carb. And not just a sugar carb!
So what I'm saying is in a nutshell is that you don't need hours and hours of time and you don't need a million ingredients to cook a healthy meal! Every month in my challenge group I share my favorite staples and meal ideas and they are learning to keep it simple. Healthy eating does not have to be complicated! Today I'm going to share my list of staple with you!
