YAY for shopping on the weekends! (said no one ever..) Yet I still do it when I have to! Fargo, ND may not seem like a big city, but with college kids back in town, Bison Football season up and running again - the weekends are a zoo.
Off to stock up at Costco to prep for the week - a few staples and trying a few new things too!
Here are my finds for the week!
How many times have you heard "I'm too busy" - or how many times have you turned down a friend, an opportunity or an event because you are "too busy." I honestly have no doubt that you have lots going on in your life... but have you really examined it? Have you HONESTLY looked at your priorities, timed out your day and paid ATTENTION to how you are becoming too busy for even life itself?
Labels can be so confusing and deceiving. "Low fat" "Non fat" "All natural" "Organic" "Low Calorie" "No Calorie"
How do you and how can you know what is the right thing to buy?
I challenge you today to take on a different approach. Instead of focusing on the calories, protein, fat, carbs, etc - read the INGREDIENT list to see what actually makes up what is in your food. What is it you are ACTUALLY putting in your body?
ooooh that is quite the flashback picture of cough (eight) years ago! YIKES! Where does time go? As you find yourself helping your family member, child, friend or YOURSELF starting your first year away from home - I'm here to share a few tips and tricks I remember from way back in the day!
We work HARD for our money. So of course we always want our money to be spent the best way possible! One of the biggest objections I hear in my health and fitness business is that people can't afford to spend money on improving their health and fitness. - we are all so guilty for putting ourselves last! We would rather spend money on our kids and families or put money away for other investments. YES! I'm so glad that you are prioritizing others too - but let's face it - in order to do our families justice and be good moms, dads, girlfriends, coworkers - whatever - we have to be our best SELVES so that we can serve others in the best ways too.
Is it ice cream? A protein shake? Smoothie? - and hats off to me for being classy and drinking it out of a Budweiser glass ...

Do you often meet yourself coming in the door as you are once again leaving? In this GO HARD or GO HOME world we rarely find enough time to get ourselves dressed... we are trying to get more done in less time and would you do it YESTERDAY already? Between working as a full time nurse, working on and growing my business, getting in my own fitness, getting in family time, keeping up the house I often struggled trying to get everything done (and I don't even have kids yet!) - some days I would wake up and my mind was already spinning before I got out of bed! Wondering where to start I would find myself not getting anything done! So? How have I overcome this?
