I can't be the only one that just has one of "those" weeks...can I? I mean those weeks where you are just in a funk...just feel blah - nothing really brings you complete joy. Anxiety. Indecisiveness. Like you don't even know what to do with yourself...well that has been my week...
Real Talk Saturday
While I'm sure hormones and the weather play a role - it is still super frustrating. SO It's time to crawl out of the funk. Like my good friend always says - "Everything is figureoutable." (love that quote) - So here are FIVE things that I'm focusing on today to bring me out of the funk!
1. Diving deeper into more personal development. MAKING time to read more of my devotion book. MAKING time to listen to a podcast about mindset and positivity. This forces me to focus on the GOOD in my life. It challenges my mind to think OUTSIDE itself.
2. Power clean. Did so this morning by cleaning out the fridge and scrubbing it down...Power cleaned the bathroom. For some reason bleach helps me cope.
3. Focus on others. What can you do for someone else today that brightens their day or week? Write someone out a card and send it in the mail. Surprise your loved one by making them their favorite meal. What is something that YOU are good at that you can pay forward to another person? I LOVE checking in on my health coach clients and seeing how I can truly continue to bring them value. Are they frustrated? Find out why and figure it out together?
4. Let it go. Gosh DARNIT i'm a control freak. I need to learn that its OK to let myself go sometimes. I don't have to have it all done. Have it all scheduled out. Stop fixating whether or not I ate too much or not enough. Stop worrying if I worked out hard enough. Put the focus on HEALTH. Will the action that I'm taking stress me out more? Or will it bring me closer to feeling at peace?
Every problem is 500% worse if you are tired. Well, at least it is for me. Get some sleep my friend and put it to rest.
