The baking of cookies and treats, making goodie trays to give out and eating treats too! Also can't go wrong with the holiday drinks that are out right now! White chocolate peppermint mochas...salted caramel everything... how do you even pick???
Peppermint Cocoa Shake for the Holidays (or anytime)
While those other drinks are DELICIOUS and sugar loaded and yes I do think you should indulge... I wanted to share a recipe that isn't full of sugar, but tastes just as yummy! ANNNDD has health benefits... say what?
I added in some collagen for extra protein and for gut healing ...
oh! and that oreo .... obviously because they are delish! and I'm all about that balance and treating yourself... and seriously how can you NOT love double stuf?
I bet you could even add some spinach to this..use all vanilla protein powder and turn it green without changing the flavor!
I used my favorite supplement Shakeology to make this! It has a TOOOONNN of nutrieints and superfoods in it - you know those ones you hear about...maca...spirulina...reishi mushrooms...chia...flax...wheatgrass...and more.. but you don't have to add all that stuff individually because it has it all already. ANNNDD it has probiotics and digestive enzymes too.
You can definitely try to substitute your favorite supplement too! I just cant guarantee that it will turn out the same! Also the Shakeology I used is vegan - so no dairy! (as you may or may not know that that does NOT sit will with me...)

Peppermint Cocoa Holiday Shake (serves 1)
1/2 scoop Vegan Vanilla Shakeology (about 15 grams)
1/2 scoop Vegan Chocolate Shakeology (about 15 grams)
1/2 cup non dairy milk (i used unsweetened vanilla cashew milk)
1/2 cup water
1 drop peppermint extract or oil
1 tsp sugar free fat free white chocolate pudding powder (yes! just the mix!)
1/2 scoop collagen (about 5 grams) - i'll share my favorite kind below!
Add all of these ingredients to your blend and blend like crazy!!!
Scrape down the sides
Add ice! I use about a cup -
Blend like crazy (again)
Pour into your favorite cup - and crush an oreo on top if you are like me...
Macros (with the Oreo) 221 calories, 17 g Protein, 24 g Carbohydrates, 4 g Fiber, 7 g Fat
Macros (shake only) 151 calories 17 g Protein, 13 g Carbohydrates, 3 g Fiber, 4 g Fat
