As we roll into the near year (how is that possible...) I usually by now how some goals set..deeper thoughts about what I REALLY want for the next year... but lately I'm just rolling with it! Thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite shopping finds - books, fitness, foods/snacks and just fun stuff.
New Year Shopping Favs
One thing I do have already is a new planner! I went with a different one this year - a nourished life planner! You can find it HERE
I got the smaller one and like the size of it in that it fits easily in my purse. It has monthly calendars and also a weekly page with space at each day for your top three priorities for that day. It also includes space for meal planning and even has bullet journaling pages. I also love the pages for goal setting, etc -
This book is on my next "to read" list - I have heard the author Mel Robbins speak various times on podcasts and have heard AMAZING things behind this book. ALSO I have heard that the audio is highly recommended. Sitting down to read isn't always doable - but audio can be on while in the car, in the shower or working around the house.
Mel's "5 second rule" is a simple way to deal with anxiety, be more productive and much more. It's a trick she has been using herself for years - counting back from 5 and then just DOING it. Sounds simple (and it is) but I love her perspective and I can always use more tips for dealing with anxiety and overwhelm.
I got this journal for Christmas and am excited to give it a try! Each week you are given a list to make with various topics to journal about (in list form) The theme of the book is all about happiness! An easy personal development exercise to focus on happiness in the new year and always.
I have had this heart rate monitor for three years now I think and I still love it. Its simple to run and has a clock, timer, current heart rate, estimated calorie burn and probably more that I don't utilize. You enter in your information on your profile: age, gender, height, weight, etc - The strap goes under your bra line - jus t need to put some water on the part of the strap that touches your body and that is enough for the watch to pick up on your heart rate. I have a SUPER low heart rate (can think myself down to the 40s at rest) and have a hard time keeping my heart rate up during workouts so this way I can keep myself in check. I would highly recommend it and its a good price too!
I love my blender bottle and need a new one and this one looks AMAZING. It even has a screw on bottom for protein powder, other supplements or snacks! And green is my favorite color! I love the non-clear ones...my current black one is my fav but I definitely need a new one!
Another one of my favs is my ninja blender and this system gives me lots of options. I use the little cups the most, but its nice to have the options for the large blender and the food processor also! I've had mine for five years and it's still working great. My bf always complains its loud, but what blender isn't!
Loving my resistance loops and floor sliders! I ordered these for the workouts I have been doing on Beachbody on Demand - "A Little Obsessed" There is a new 80 day fitness program that launches in January and that will gear me up for that! I also got the energize pre-workout and the recovery chocolate supplements that is used in the program also. i have used both in the past and I really like them. Also in the 80 days no one workout is the same! For more info on the program just drop me an email HERE with the subject line: 80DO
Love these bars as a snack! My favorite ones so far are the chocolate sea salt and also the maple sea salt. You can pronounce every ingredient in the bars...and there aren't many. They also seem to sit well with my digestion.
I've pretty much been living in these slippers the last few weeks. They are SUPER cozy and of course match the robe I ordered from there too... You can find the slippers HERE
THIS is the robe I've been living in - except mine has a hood. I have been stalking them on the Pottery Barn website for two years and decided it was time to just go for it the last time they had a sale. It is worth every penny!
Loving this mascara - an awesome and inexpensive one that has worked really well for me. The shape of the brush helps you get every angle of your lashes too! This is ONE of the mascaras I have been using lately...
This is the other mascara I really have been loving. I fell in love with it when I got a sample gifted to me at Ulta...well I'm stuck on it ever since. Super great if you are looking for thicker and more voluminous lashes.
