Happy National Puppy Day! Hard to believe that ONE YEAR ago Hank was just a little pup! And now...well he is a 70 lb chocolate monster. Love him so much. He LOVES playing ball (in fact he sleeps with his tennis ball), loves going on adventures ANYWHERE (especially with his dad going hunting, fishing or to the lake!), running like a maniac in the yard and LOVES being around people!
now that the weather is warming up... i'm craving smoothies again! This one was SO good. The creepy green color comes from spinach... and I promise you can't taste it!
1/2 cup cashew milk (unsweetened)
1 scoop vanilla shakeology (superfoods + protein + probiotics)
handful of spinach
handful of ice
half banana frozen
1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower
I found this palette on sale at Ulta and it was a great find! I love all the colors and I think I paid $9? All the colors blend perfectly to create a great smokey eye and also are great base colors for every day use.
Yes I'm still baking all the cookies! I made these for the boys' fishing trip to Canada - Here is a recent post I did about cookie baking tips!
I experimented with these Monster Cookies too! I stuffed them with chunks of peanut butter cups! And of course there was plenty of oats, peanut butter, m&ms and chocolate chips too...
A lot of vegetables have still been a no go with my digestion still. ESPECIALLY raw veggies! But roasted carrots and peas seem to go ok! Broccoli and cauliflower especially lead to a lot of gas pain for me and raw greens are too hard on my system too. I used a stir fry frozen vegetable mix from Costco and roasted them at 400 in the oven for about 30 minutes. Sprinkled on some cheese for B too!
the new love around here is homemade crunch wraps! you know...like the ones taco bell has? take any tortilla and fill it with your favs...fold it up and throw it in the air fryer! You can also use a stove top saute pan! - our favorite fillings are either taco stuff or BREAKFAST ones! (eggs...sausage...cheese...onions and peppers!)
and obviously i would have these every day - pancakes! I often make protein pancakes using protein powder or shakeology! - and of course all the berries, nut butter, seed butter, cinnamon and some syrup too!
Another go to meal includes fish! I got these tilapia fillets at the grocery store on a major sale! I just rub them with olive oil and salt free seasoning and cook them stove top and flip when the bottom is blackened. Keep flipping as needed! - So good served with my favorite steak fries in the air fryer! This chipotle seasoning from target is legit.
This was leftover salad from Granite City! Salads are a treat as I'm trying to stay away from cold, raw veggies. I LOVE their chinese chicken salad! And the portion size is HUGE so there was plenty of left over!
bring me back to Jamaica - B and I had a blast! We went to Montego Bay to the Jewel Grande Resort - I would DEFINITELY recommend it...can we go back please? I miss the beach...
Got a lot of questions about where I got my suits! Most of them I got from this boutique HERE
They are SUPER inexpensive so I wasn't sure what to expect for quality, but they aren't bad! I got about six suits for about $10 each!
