whoa hey there 3 ingredient peanut butter cups - I have seen this recipe all over pinterest and the interweb so I thought I would give it a go! I by no means "invented" this recipe, but I'm sure I did it a bit different than other. and it was nonetheless tasty (and man approved.
I'm back with some awesome for you -
It's been about a MONTH since I have been on here..crazy I know! But I finished my first round of Core De Force..and also came out with my newsletter... sign up for that HERE and I've been prepping for Christmas and then THESE beauties were born today! Can't believe it is ALREADY December and Christmas is COMING. SANTA! - Anyways - I promise to get to the point finally since you are probably drooling....
All you need for this is Chocolate Shakeology (regular OR vegan), coconut oil and peanut buter (or sun butter, or almond butter, or cashew butter..WHATEVER you are feelin')
These can be made into minis or regular muffin tins! Simply spray your tins with a cooking spray OR use liners (either will work great!
Mix your scoop of Shakeology with 1.5 Tablespoons of melted coconut oil and spoon carefully into your muffin tin making a thin layer at the bottom. Stick in the freezer for about 5 minutes until hardened. Or if you are like me and live in freezing North Dakota just stick outside on the deck for like 2.5 seconds...(hey that below zero wind chill HAS to be good for something..)
Once that is hardened cover that chocolate layer with a thin layer of a natural peanut butter! The runny natural kind works best! I used about a half teaspoon to cover it. Repeat with the freezer and or deck method.
Now cover the peanut butter with another chocolate layer and freeze! Keep stored in the fridge or freezer. This made me about 4 bigger cups OR six mini cups.
