I feel like I'm always doing things a bit different as I plan for the week but I know eventually I'll find my rhythm and groove. I really am not one to have things plotted out to a T because sometimes you just change your mind..you know? (it's a woman's right you see) I do like to have stuff on hand and at least SEMI prepared so that when I get home I have an idea in mind and have the ingredients on hand or even ready to go already! I'll show you how I'm doing things this week and we will see how it works out!
I can't be the only one that just has one of "those" weeks...can I? I mean those weeks where you are just in a funk...just feel blah - nothing really brings you complete joy. Anxiety. Indecisiveness. Like you don't even know what to do with yourself...well that has been my week...
TIme to post some mid week randomness! Favorites of the week thus far! Articles, quotes, shopping, thoughts...and such!
I really can't take credit for this recipe as it is based mostly on Taralynn's Gluten Free Oatmeal Bake over on her site www.simplytaralyn.com The one I made is NOT gluten free but does use REAL ingredients and I love that!
I read a blog article recently that talked about food shaming, diets and other things that I so totally wish people would just let go of ... and see the biggest picture - perfect opportunity to share my thoughts with you today!
It was my favorite person's birthday this week AND on valentine's day = extra celebrating this week....here is a recap of my week so far!
Ain't nobody got time for dry chicken! Although..it happens all too often. It should be a crime. Here are a few tips and tricks that have been working well for my chicken boobs!
Decided to venture out and get some food things today..and had one of those days where I chased my tail a bit. Kinda ran a few different places...in a very unorganized manner! Oh well! Thought I would share a few of my finds and what I'm going to do with them!
I have been seeing cauliflower everything for quite some time now - my last Trader Joe's run (yes...the closest one is nearly 4 hours away!) I picked up a couple bags of frozen cauliflower rice to give it a go. I've been pleasantly surprised and although B calls it "the weird rice" he does eat it.
How many times today have you thought or said "URGH...why do they ALWAYS do that?" "omg, seriously? What does she do that all the time?" "Why do we HAVE to do it this way?" - or something similar. We are so quick to criticize, to judge - but do you REALLY know what it is like on the other side? In the other persons shoes? Do you understand why the way they act the way they do or have you tried? OR -are you quick to place blame, ignore the WHY? -
